THE MISSION

Biking is your lifeblood, not your hobby, and you're not a millionaire (yet). You’re addicted, and Chainlove is here to help. We're the stone-cold pusher on your corner with the premium product at cut-rate prices. Our merchandise? Everything from the Tour to the North Shore, and we’re not afraid to take it off the back of a truck if our connect gets spooky. We’re talking completes, components, apparel, tools—just name your vice.

Here's how it goes down:

* We slap a primo piece of cycling gear on our site at a scandalous price.
* We sell it 'til it's gone.
* You leave feeling like a smooth criminal.
* The gear arrives fast and you're back in the saddle.

Sign up for Instant Alerts so you always know The Deal. But don't blame us if you overdose.
Who We Are

We clip in or mount up every chance we get, rain or shine, hot or cold. We sneak away at midnight just to stare at our secret two-wheeled lover. Carbon fiber parts and CNC-machined aluminum pivots make us sweat and shake like we're extras in Flashdance. We're always searching for the next high: the rush of breaking away from the pack, the ecstasy of that perfect stretch of single track, the burn in our body the day after. We live for the ride.
Abusers Beware:

Those who come falsely to Chainlove seeking monetary gain, take heed: our agents are many and our reach is long.

* You can buy up to three (3) of any one product.
* No resale. Anywhere.

Abuse will result in swift punishment of a most merciless nature.

You’ve been warned.

Been a long while

Got the new board (it's sweet!) and have been dialing it in some.

I was able to get out last Saturday to The Canyons and to Snowbird on Sunday. I really can't say that I enjoyed Snowbird that much. I'll give it another shot, but it seemed to be just crap for snowboarding. The lift runouts all sloped off to the left or right keeping you from being able to choose where you wanted to go, cat-tracks seem to be the favored method to get around everywhere (hate...) and on Wilbere Ridge it was cut into pieces by cat-tracks intersecting it the whole way down.

I went to The Canyons again on Wednesday morning. It was great aside from almost running through what I will assume was deer crap in the middle of some groomer. My board was a little wobbly so I set my stance back about an inch and was able to just lay down the turns. Very sweet. I'm going to diddle with it a little more (angles and such) and see if I can make it any better.

No Powder Mountain for me

I've decided against getting my pass for Powder Mountain. I don't think I'll get up there very much and I could use the $300 on other stuff (like recovering from my car repair bill). Canyons will have to do it for me this year. Besides only rich assholes have more than one ski pass. ;)

Pow Mow Jan 1st

Going to see what I can do to get a group to Powder Mountain on Jan 1st. I haven't been there in about 6 years years and I'll proably be feeling strong enough for a half day up there. :)

Canyons - First trip of the season

What a day! My coworker Adam and I decided today would be a grand day to go snowboarding up at The Canyons. It was.

We managed to get things underway by about noon or so. the first couple runs took it out of me (not in awesome shape) so we went to the lodge where I could rest for a bit and get a bite to eat - grilled chicken salad and a beer :D

We probably had about 6 more runs the rest of the day. I'm fairly wrecked right now. I think I'll make this an early night.
